Supreme Court Community Events

Kedleston Voice has applied for permission to take our case to the Supreme Court, challenging the recent court of appeal decision to build 400 houses on heritage land within Kedleston Estate.

Our decision comes after we sought advice from a top planning Q.C. who is clear there are outstanding questions to be answered by the Supreme Court regarding the definition of ‘setting’ and the subsequent potential damage to the setting of Kedleston Hall if this development is allowed to go ahead.

We have organised an hour long event to help you understand the process and give you the opportunity to ask questions.

The hour long events will take place at:

Woodlands School Allestree

on

Tuesday 16th October at 7:30pm or
 Saturday 20th October at 11am

It is very rare for a local planning issue to reach the supreme court so your support is vital.

We urge you to attend this event so you are fully informed of what is happening on our doorstep.

We look forward to seeing you.
